Lacey's Book in Progress!

Lacey Dowdle's book!
Lacey is getting married in September to Ryan Davis. I am so excited for them in this time of life. It can be so stressful but so fun at the same time! I'm so glad I was given the opportunity to make this book for them!
I've got 10 out of the 20 pages done except for pictures, which she is taking soon and I can't wait to see them! The pictures will be going in random places across the pages either straight, to the left or right, or tilted. I've had a blast making this book, and I can't wait to see it finished!
Thank you Lacey for letting me make your wedding guest sign in book and for letting me share this wonderful time in your life with you!
Best of Luck!
Enjoy!

More pictures of my own guest book!

Here are some samples of what some of the pages look like close up. This one is the front cover, which varies depending on color, style, size. This is a sample of the very first page in the book. You can choose to have it say whatever whether it be your last name, initials, first names, the date or whatever you want.
Here are a few pages after they had been written on at the reception.
Hey everyone!
Here are a few pictures of my sisters guestbook at her wedding in March!
Enjoy!
The upper picture shows a little bit of the front page. Nobody writes on the front page, unless wanted by bride, this is just an intro page showing the date and last name of the bride and groom. Here is a close up of a page that is written on showing a little of what the pages look like!

Here are a few pictures of the sign-in book that was at my wedding. As you can see all of the pictures/pages are stored in a book with clear cover sheets for safe storage. My sister, Courtney, and sister-in-law, Ashley, were in charge of pulling the pages out of their plastic covers and onto the table for signing. There were a lot of pages to fill the book, so I asked them to check it every once in a while throughout the night so that all of the pages would have writing on them. The closer up photo shows a little bit of what the page looks like. I will post better pictures that show the whole page in a couple of days. The pages are very simple and plain at first so there is enough room for more than a couple of people to write on it.

You can't see him very well in this picture, but, that is my sweet husband Tim. He's the love of my life and is so excited for this new business too! Thanks and Enjoy!

Hey all! Welcome to Special Memories by Mandy! I am so excited to show some things that I have been working on. Special Memories is all about keeping your most favorite memories in a picture journal. I have started out with making scrapbooks for weddings as the bride and grooms sign-in guest book. These pages look very simple at first, so there is room for people to send their best wishes to the lovely couple. I am thrilled to get this blog up and going and can't wait to show you more memory books that I have created.
I first started thinking about this when I was planning my own wedding. I started to think of what I could do for my guest sign-in book. I had always loved to scrapbook, so I decided to make my own. It turned out great and I couldn't wait for the opportunity to make another one. Well, my sister got married 2 months after I did. So I asked her if I could make her sign-in book as well. She was so stressed with everything, and gladly sent that task over to me. I was so excited to make this for her. I will post pictures of the books that I have made, so you can get a feel of what I do!

If anyone knows of someone who would be interested in wanting help capturing memories. Please have them contact me. =)
